NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- Â The Merrimack College softball team fell in both doubleheader contests against the conference-leading Saint Francis University Red Flash on Friday.

Rapid Recap (Game One)
- The Red Flash scored four of their five runs in the first inning. A walk and a single put two on before a hit batter loaded the bases. A single to right brought in the first run, a walk the second, before a single and fielder's choice made it 4-0 before the inning was capped off with a strikeout.
- Merrimack retaliated in the bottom of the first, as Sarah Reisler singled through the left side and was joined on base by Abigail Amato who worked a walk. Kelly Dovi rolled a single off the end of her bat up the first base line, bringing in Reisler with her sixth RBI of the year.
- The bats stayed quiet until the fourth, where a single and double by Saint Francis added to its run total on the day.
- The Warriors posted its final run of the day in the fifth, after Tiffany Mangiameli singled to short with two outs before stealing second. Sarah Reisler dropped a single to center, brining Mangiameli across home plate.

Rapid Recap (Game Two)
- Saint Francis tallied one in the first on a single to left center, and stretched the lead in the second. After a walk and a strikeout, a home run brought in two for the Red Flash. A double and a single set up runners on the corners, with a grounder bringing in one runner to score. A double down the line would make the game 5-0 for the visitors in the top of the second.
- Merrimack stayed patient at the plate, working long at-bats including a nine pitch at-bat for Gabby Comeau in the second. The Warriors also got on base with two hit batters and two walks.
- In the sixth, the Red Flash tacked on its sixth of the contest, after a walk stolen base and grounder advanced the runner to third where she was brought home on a double to left.
- The Warriors pushed through in the bottom of the seventh. Madison Cerpa worked a leadoff walk, advancing to second on a ground out and third on a wild pitch. Madison Medeiros had a shallow hit at her hands, advancing to second on an error by the third baseman, bringing in Cerpa for the tally.
