EASTON, Mass. – The Merrimack College softball team returns to Northeast-10 Conference divisional play with a two-game set at Stonehill College on Wednesday from Fr. William Gartland Field. Game one is set for 3 p.m., with the second game to follow at 5 p.m. The two teams had their series opener postponed twice last week and again yesterday.

Last Time Out:
  • The Warriors went 3-1 over the weekend against Adelphi and Pace.
  • In a rematch of the 2017 NE10 title game with the Panthers, Merrimack swept Adelphi on Saturday afternoon. Senior Megan Cook pitched a complete game shutout in game one, on her way to her 11th win of the season. Juniors Nicole Nanof and Kristina Terrazzano knocked in a run each. In game two, it was the help of some defensive errors that lead to runs in the second and third innings for Merrimack. Freshman Bridget Soraghan picked up her first-career win, while Cook had a save in relief.
  • Against the Setters, the Navy and Gold split on Sunday. In the first game, it was junior Caitlin McBride and senior Alyssa Williamson that knocked in a pair of runs each. Cook pitched again, picking up win number 12 of the year. Pace took game two by a score of 6-1, behind a complete game effort from Jackie Flores.
