  • Merrimack added another in the top of the sixth. McBride led off with a double smoked down the left field line, and freshman Jenna Bradish came in to pinch run. After a wild pitch put her on third, Dovi lifted a ball to left field, scoring Bradish on the sacrifice.
  • The Rams struck once more in the bottom of the sixth. A two-out double by Maddie Heno was followed by an RBI double from Stephanie Pepper, cutting the lead once more to just one run.
  • Jefferson responded once again in the bottom of the seventh. After two outs, a walk followed by a wild pitch put Winnai Hoyt on second. Breck Urban delivered a deep blast to left field, scoring the tying run. After a single and a walk, the bases filled, and Urban reached home on a walk-off walk to give Jefferson a 5-4 victory.
