Baseball Announces Updates to Bentley Series
Links: 2017 Game Schedule
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Following last week's rainout that forced the Merrimack College baseball team's and Bentley University's regularly scheduled game as well as the attempt to conclude its suspended game from March 30 to be postponed, the Warriors have announced the rescheduling of their series with the Falcons.
On Wednesday, April 26, the two local rivals will resume the suspended game in the bottom of the 12th from the Warrior Baseball Diamond with Bentley coming to bat. On March 30 in Waltham, the programs were tied at 4-4 through 11 innings, but the game was halted there due to darkness. Last Wednesday, the Warriors and Falcons played the top of the 12th with the Navy and Gold going down in order before the rain came and forced the additional postponement.
Originally scheduled to play on April 26 at 3:30 p.m., the Warriors and Falcons will begin that contest shortly after the conclusion of the suspended game.
Finally, on Thursday, April 27, the Warriors and Falcons will return to the Warrior Diamond at 3:30 p.m. to make up the tilt that was completely washed out last Wednesday due to the weather.
