Roy Tabbed Third Team All-Conference Selection
South Easton, Mass. – Merrimack women’s basketball senior captain Gennifer Roy (Granby, Mass.) has been named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference third team for her play during the 2011-12 season. Roy is the first Merrimack selected to the All-Conference team since the 2010 season.

Women’s Basketball Drops Season Finale at Franklin Pierce
RINDGE, NH- In the regular season finale, the Merrimack women’s basketball team suffered a 72-41 loss at Franklin Pierce Tuesday evening at the Franklin Pierce University Fieldhouse. The Warriors finished the 2011-12 campaign with a 5-21 overall record and a 4-18 mark in the Northeast-10 Conference.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The Merrimack Warriors women’s basketball team was not able to defeat the Bentley Falcons on Tuesday night despite 15 points from Gennifer Roy (Granby, Mass.). The Warriors shot 41.8 percent from the field for the game but were could not stop the spread out Falcons scoring attack.

Women's Basketball Makes Unexpected Visit to UConn
North Andover, Mass. - The Merrimack women’s basketball team experienced a once in a lifetime thing over the weekend as they were surprised with a trip to Storrs, CT, home of the best women’s college basketball program in the world, the University of Connecticut Huskies. The players had no idea where they were going or what they were going to be doing, all that they were told was to bring their practice gear.
