Merrimack hockey is a team to respect???and fear

Our fans have made Lawler Arena an imposing place to visit

With a record home attendance, the first two sellouts since 2002 and the highest student attendance ever

Led by the Hockey East Co-Coach of the Year

We defeated every team in Hockey East overall and at home for the first time ever,

Recorded a school-record 16 victories and 12 home wins

And emerged with at least one win in every Hockey East weekend series for the first time ever

We reached the playoffs for the first time since 2004

And won a playoff game for the first time since 1998

There was not a better freshman in the country than Stephane Da Costa

Who is the first five-time Hockey East Rookie of the Month and the Rookie of the Year

And scored more points than any Merrimack player in 12 years

Led by our likely 10th Hockey East Scholar Athlete of the Year in 19 seasons

14 student-athletes recorded GPA's of over 3.0, most in Hockey East

But we will not settle for this year's success

The excitement of next year already beckons with great anticipation of even bigger goals
