NORTH ANDOVER, Mass – Freshman setter Tara Stuhr (Huntington Beach, Calif.) recorded 40 assists and seven digs to help lead the Merrimack College women's volleyball team to a sweep of Le Moyne College Friday night at Hammel Court.

How It Happened
Junior outside hitter Stephanie Sheehan (Smithtown, N.Y) and senior outside hitter Jackie Jones (Amherst, N.H.) led the Warriors with a team-high nine kills apiece. Junior Corrine Gosselin (Lawrence, Mass.) tallied eight kills and two blocks on the night. Sophomore Madison Burke (San Jose, Calif.) led the Warriors with 16 digs.
After trailing 9-7 earlier on in set one, Merrimack dominated the opened set as they never trailed again, winning 25-19 after a huge kill by Aliya Winker (Arlington, Va.) closed out the set. Sheehan led the way for the Warriors in the first as she recorded seven kill and Burke picked up eight digs.
The Warriors built a nine point lead midway through the second set after a kill from Gosselin and Merrimack never looked back as the won the frame by the score 25-14.
Merrimack opened the third set on a 2-0 run but Le Moyne managed to battle back at tie the game at 13-all. After a service error by Le Moyne, Merrimack slowly took the final set, 25-21, after a kill from Gosselin.

- As a team, Merrimack finished with a .216 hitting percentage, while Le Moyne tallied a .071 hitting percentage on the night.
- Winker recorded a team-high .500 kill percentage on the night.
- Le Moyne Andrea Buchanan tallied a double-double against the Warriors with 10 kills and 12 digs.
