Pickert, Cindric Earn All-Region Accolades

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Juniors Molly Cindric (Westlake Village, CA) and Alyssa Pickert (Tinley Park, IL) were named to the AVCA and Daktronics All-Region teams on Tuesday.

Pickert, the Northeast-10 Libero of the Year, was a first-team Daktronics selection and an honorable mention on the AVCA East Region team.

Cindric, also an AVCA honorable mention, was a second-team Daktronics choice. She is now a three-time all-region selection, including a first-team selection in 2008.

Pickert, who is the first Libero of the Year in school history, led the conference with 596 digs, averaging 5.52 per set. She recorded over 40 digs twice and was a three-time Northeast-10 Libero of the Week. A third team honoree in 2008, Pickert, who holds the school record with 1,770 digs in her career and 598 digs in a season, was also a Northeast-10 second team selection.

Cindric was a first-team all-conference selection for the third straight season. The junior captain, who was the first All-American honorable mention in program history in 2008, led the conference with 403 kills and was second overall with 3.63 per set.
