Four Straight: Pickert Gets Libero of the Week for Fourth Straight Week

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Junior Alyssa Pickert (Tinley Park, IL) was named the Northeast-10 Libero of the Week for the fourth straight week on Monday.

Pickert became the all-time school leader for digs in a career with her fourth dig in Saturday’s match against Franklin Pierce. She has 1,568 career digs as a junior and will eye 2,000 career digs next season.

She averaged 5.91 digs per game this week, including 24 in a 3-0 win over Saint Michael’s on Wednesday.

Pickert leads the Northeast-10 with 5.55 digs per game and 394 overall.

Merrimack (16-5, 5-2 NE-10) visits Saint Anselm on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before hosting Southern Connecticut Friday at 4 p.m.
