Figuereo helped the Warrior women place second in a nine-team field last Saturday at the Benyon Invitational. The rookie sprinter enjoyed another solid day, posting victories in a pair of races while anchoring Merrimack's winning relay team, as well.
The first-year Warrior began her afternoon by hitting the provisional mark en route to her third straight victory in the 60 meter dash, winning the event with a time of 7.83. The Haverhill, Mass., native also set an ECAC record in the 200 meter race, posting another victory with a time of 26.11.
Finally, Figuereo anchored the final leg of the race en route to helping the Merrimack 'A' relay team come out on top in the 4x200 meter event with a time of 1:56.39
The Warriors return to action next Saturday when they compete in the Southern Maine Invitational.
