LOWELL, MA – The Merrimack women's track team competed at the George Davis Invitational Saturday afternoon.
Eight Warriors qualified for the Northeast-10 Tournament, led by six in the 3000 meters, including Anne Bajor (Methuen, MA) who finished 13th in a time of 10:41.91. Also qualifying in the 3000 meters were Fiona Coleman (Windsor, CT) (19th), Rebecca Ainscow (Derry, NH) (30th), Kacey Pickett (Plymouth, MA) (31st), Caitlin Kasala-Hallinan (Worcester, MA) (41st), Julie Binney (South Easton, MA) (47th), and Ashley Bock (Sutton, MA) (50th).
Andrea Chapa-Cerviatti (Holden, MA) also qualified in the 400-meters in a time of 1:06.00, while Brianna Devereaux (Londonderry, NH) was third among Division II runners and sixth overall in the 800 meters in a time of 2:19.00.
Rachel Lozeau (Nashua, NH) was 12th in the javelin with a throw of 31.92 meters.
Merrimack will compete in the Husky Invitational on April 16 in Boston.
