Domohowski and deMont Dubbed NE-10 All-Academics

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - All-Northeast-10 Conference juniors Kerri Domohowski (Saugus, MA) and Lindsey deMont (Littleton, MA) of Merrimack College were named to the Northeast-10 women's soccer all-Academic team on Thursday.

Helping Merrimack to an NCAA East Region semifinal, Domohowski and deMont lead a Warrior team that earned a Northeast-10 postseason berth for the 25th straight season.

Domohowski, a Philosophy major at Merrimack, holds a 3.85 grade point average as a two-time Merrimack College Athletic Department honor roll recipient.  The junior midfielder scored four goals (two game-winners) and three assists in 2009 to earn all-Conference third team honors and NEWISA all-New England second team accolades.

deMont was a lynchpin on defense for Gabe Mejail's Warriors this past season, assisting on six goals while serving as the corner-kick specialist.  As a double major in Business and Fine Arts, she has earned a 3.45 grade point average entering the second semester of her third year in North Andover.  In addition to being named an all-Conference second teamer in the Northeast-10, deMont was an NSCAA Division II all-East Region and NEWISA all-New England second team honoree.
