Season Recap: Women’s Lacrosse Earns NE-10 Playoff Berth for 7th Straight Season in 2012
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The Merrimack women’s lacrosse team went through its fair share of ups and downs during the 2012 season but they were still able to reach the Northeast-10 Conference playoffs for the seventh straight season, including each season under current head coach Corinne Baker.

Sarah Salatto Receives IWLCA All-Regional Honors
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Merrimack women’s lacrosse senior defenseman Sarah Salatto (Guilford, CT) has been selected by the IWLCA as a second team All-Regional member. Salatto was one of 64 division II student-athletes to be selected to the All-Regional team.

Three Women’s Lacrosse Players Receive All-Conference Accolades
SOUTH EASTON, MA – Three Merrimack women’s lacrosse student-athletes were noticed as all-conference members as announced by the league office on Thursday. Sarah Salatto (Guilford, CT) was named to the first-team defense while senior Mary Pasquantonio (Plainville, Mass.) and sophomore Olivia Huie (Norwell, Mass.) were named to the second-team.

#12 Women’s Lacrosse Drops Northeast-10 Quarterfinal at #8 Stonehill 15-3
EASTON, MA – The #12 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team was defeated on Wednesday night at the W.B. Mason Stadium by the Stonehill Skyhawks by the score of 15-3. The Warriors were knocked out of the Northeast-10 Conference playoffs despite a career-high 21 saves by goalie Sam Kiesel (Andover, Mass.).

#12 Women’s Lacrosse Set for NE-10 Quarterfinal on Wednesday
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The 12th-ranked Merrimack women’s lacrosse team is prepared to take on the Stonehill Skyhawks in the Northeast-10 Quarterfinals on Wednesday night. The Warriors secured the six seed in the playoffs on Saturday as Saint Anselm was downed by the New Haven Chargers.

Women’s Lacrosse Clinches Six Seed in Northeast-10 Conference Playoffs
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The Merrimack women’s lacrosse team clinched the six seed in the Northeast-10 playoffs on Saturday afternoon as Saint Anselm was defeated by New Haven. Merrimack will now travel to Stonehill on Wednesday, May 2 for a quarterfinal game against the Skyhawks at 7:00 pm.

#12 Women’s Lacrosse Picks up 14-9 Victory at Franklin Pierce
RINDGE, NH – The #12 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team clinched a playoff berth on Tuesday night as they defeated the Franklin Pierce Ravens by the score of 14-9. With the win, Merrimack finishes the regular season with a 7-8 overall record and a 7-5 conference mark, earning the sixth seed for the Northeast-10 Conference playoffs.

Colchester, VT – The #12 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team kept their playoff hopes alive on Wednesday night with a 14-4 victory over the Saint Michael’s Purple Knights. Five Warriors scored two or more goals in the game.

#11 Women’s Lacrosse Overpowers Southern Connecticut, 21-3
NEW HAVEN, CT – The #11 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team defeated the Southern Connecticut State Owls on Saturday afternoon by the score of 21-3. The Warriors were powered offensively by Colleen Strachan (Bedford, Mass.) who finished the game with six goals and two assists.

EASTON, MA – The #11 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team was defeated on Thursday night by the score of 12-8 after leading the Skyhawks 6-4 after the first half of play.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The #11 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team was defeated in a double overtime thriller on Tuesday night by the Bentley Falcons 12-11.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The #11 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team was defeated on Saturday afternoon by the #5 C.W. Post Pioneers by the score of 20-10.

#11 Women’s Lacrosse Downs Southern New Hampshire, 13-12
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The #11 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team denied the Southern New Hampshire Penmen the victory on Wednesday night, holding onto a 13-12 victory. Mary Pasquantonio (Plainville, Mass.) led the way for the Warriors in her first action of the season, scoring three goals.

#11 Women’s Lacrosse Almost Upsets #1 Le Moyne, Falling 8-7
SYRACUSE, NY – The #11 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team was defeated on Saturday afternoon by the #1 Le Moyne Dolphins by the score of 8-7. The loss drops the Warriors to 3-4 (3-3 NE-10) on the season while the Dolphins improved to 7-0 (5-0 NE-10).

SPRINGFIELD, MA – The #11 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team defeated the AIC Yellow Jackets by the score of 19-8 on Tuesday night. The Warriors had five players score at least three goals in the game.

#10 Women’s Lacrosse Upended by #9 New Haven, 18-8
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The #10 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team was defeated by the #9 New Haven Chargers on Saturday afternoon by the score of 18-8. The loss drops the Warriors to 2-3 (2-2 NE-10) on the season and New Haven improves to 5-0 (2-0 NE-10).

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The #10 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team was defeated on Saturday afternoon by the #2 Adelphi Panthers by the score of 20-9. Alicia Tinsley (Shrewsbury, Mass.) tied a career-high with five goals on the afternoon.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The #10 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team defeated the Assumption Greyhounds on Tuesday afternoon by the score of 16-10 behind four goals by senior Colleen Strachan (Bedford, Mass.). The Warriors dominated the shots department by the score of 37-23 for the afternoon.

#10 Women’s Lacrosse to Open up 2012 at Home Against St. Anselm on Saturday
North Andover, Mass. – The #10 Merrimack women’s lacrosse team will open up the 2012 season on Saturday afternoon with a home contest against the Saint Anselm Hawks at 1 pm. The Warriors defeated the Hawks 18-9 in their only meeting last season.

South Easton, Mass. – The Merrimack women’s lacrosse team has been picked to finish fourth in the Northeast-10 Coaches Preseason Poll released on Thursday. The Warriors received 111 points, just eight points behind the third place Stonehill Skyhawks.

Women’s Lacrosse Ranks #12 in IWLCA Preseason Poll
North Andover, Mass. – The Merrimack women’s lacrosse team will open the 2012 season ranked #12 in the IWLCA national preseason poll. The Warriors posted a 12-7 overall record last spring and an 8-4 Northeast-10 conference record.

Women’s Lacrosse unveils 2012 Schedule
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The Merrimack women’s lacrosse team has released the schedule for the 2012 season, featuring seven home and seven away contests. The first three games of the season for the Warriors will be at home at Martone-Mejail Field.

Merrimack Participates in the Play for Parkinson's Lacrosse Series at UNH
Durham, N.H. - The Merrimack College women's lacrosse team, in conjunction with the Play for Parkinson's Lacrosse Series, took part in the Fall Ball Day to benefit the ProjectSparks Foundation on Friday October 21st.
