Basile, Whiteway Earn NE-10 Player of the Week Honors

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Mia Basile (Longmeadow, MA) was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week Monday, while Jamie-Lee Whiteway (Billerica, MA) earned NE-10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors.

Basile netted 14 goals and 20 points in three wins last week, including a game-winner. She tallied nine points in a 24-4 win over Southern Connecticut Saturday. The junior is third on the Warriors with 29 goals and 43 points.

Whiteway picked up three wins in net, posting a 5.33 goals-against-average and a .568 save percentage.

Merrimack (7-7, 7-3 NE-10) hosts #5 Bentley University at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Northeast-10 Quarterfinals at Warrior Field. Click here for more info.
