Ngui's Strong Outing Leads Women's Golf to Eighth-Place Finish at UIndy Fall Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Another strong outing from senior Jessica Ngui (Richardson, Texas), led the Merrimack College women's golf team to a top-10 finish at the UIndy Fall Invitational. The Navy and Gold placed eighth out of 18  teams over the two-day tournament. Ferris State University led the way with a score of 307.

How It Happened
Jessica Ngui continued her strong start to the season, finishing with a two-day score of 11-over, good for tops among all Warrior competitors. Ngui's score also ranked 15th individually out of 105 competitors. Ngui was six-over-par on Sunday before shooting five-over earlier this afternoon.

The eighth-place finish followed a victory earlier this month in the Wellesley Tri Match.

: "Today was a really great day for Merrimack golf. We matched out team low single round score of 314, in one of the most competitive in-region tournaments we play. We are looking forward to Ashland for another DII in-region match up."
