Tim Desrosiers enters his second season as Merrimack College women's crew coach.

The Warriors won two of three events in their first-ever home event against Bryant under Desrosiers' tutelage.

Merrimack rowed in four events during their innagural spring season including competing in the New England Championships. The Warriors took home the silver medal beating division I, II and III teams in the process.

Desrosiers has coached at UMass Lowell at the collegiate level, serving as program director and head coach for the men’s crew team at Lowell from 2003-2007.

As the head coach at Lowell, he oversaw the entire program, leading the River Hawks to an undefeated record in 2006 in all pre-championship racing, while ranking second in the New England Coaches’ Poll.

At MIT, he coached the graduate rowing club for two years and has also served as a rowing and sculling coach for the Boston University Rowing Club, Brooks School, and most recently, at Greater Lawrence Rowing, where he will be the girl’s varsity coach this spring.

Desrosiers was a member of U-Mass Lowell's varsity men's crew through 2001, serving as team captain in 2000-01, while competing in the 2000 Head of the Charles Regatta.

The Merrimack women’s crew team trains at the Abe Bashara Boathouse in Lawrence, MA, a facility situated on the Merrimack River and operated by Greater Lawrence Community Boating, Inc.
