Paul Bea begins his second year as assistant coach with the Merrimack women’s crew program in 2012.

Coach Bea started his rowing career at TC Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia earning Captain and Outstanding Oarsman honors his senior year. He then went on to row for Northeastern University. 

Paul coached in the summer youth program for years for Alexandria Crew Boosters, as well as helping coach the Men's novice team at T.C. in 2004.

After moving back to the Boston area he became the first ever rowing coach at Endicott College, where he served as Head Coach.  

Paul is currently the Rowing Director and Head Boy’s Coach at Greater Lawrence Rowing.
