CLERMONT, FL – On a rainy day at the National Training Center, the Merrimack College team snuck in a game against Wayne State College in the morning, but had their afternoon game with Post University cancelled due to inclement weather.  Against Wayne State, Merrimack lost by a score of 4-0.

Sophomore pitcher Alex Gallant (Salem, NH) got the start for Merrimack and dropped to 1-2 on the year after allowing three runs on four hits.

The Warriors return to action on Friday against #24 Kutztown University (10-6) and Grand Valley State University (5-5) at 1:30pm and 5:30pm, respectively.  Earlier in the week, Merrimack fell to Kutztown, 3-1.
