Mullin Posts Top Time for Mens Cross Country in Season Opener

SMITHFIELD, RI – In his first collegiate race, freshman
Harry Mullin (West Hartford, CT) posted the top
score for Merrimack as the men’s cross country team opened
the season at the Bryant Invitational.
In a non-scoring 5K meet, Mullin placed 31st overall in a time of
17:52.33. Right behind him was sophomore John Doherty
(Chelmsford, MA) in 35th at 18:11.34. Chris
Lawrence (Peabody, MA), Chris Stanwyck (Chelmsford, MA),
and Connor Green (Wethersfield, CT) also placed in
the top-50.
The Warriors will compete in the Shacklette Invitational next
Saturday at Saint Anselm College. They have captured the event the
last two years.
