Men's Tennis Falls to Chestnut Hill, 7-2
WARRIORS DROP TO 1-1 ON THE YOUNG SEASON
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Merrimack College men's tennis team was edged by Chestnut Hill on Friday afternoon by a score of 7-2. With the loss, Merrimack falls 1-1 overall.

How It Happened
The Warriors fell behind 2-1 after the doubles matches as the duo Chris Barnhart (Longmeadow, Mass.) and Matt Pronesti (Mission Viejo, Calif.) won the no. 1 doubles slot, 8-5. The other two duos Vince Bellino (Amesbury, Mass.) and Miguel Belfort (Caracas, Venezuela) and James Barnhart (Longmeadow, Mass.) and Nick Majewski (Brewster, Mass.) were both defeated.
James Barnhart collected the only singles win by defeating the no. 3 single from Chestnut Hill, A.J. Moore.

The men's tennis team returns to action this weekend, when they participate in the ITA East Regional Championship.The tournament begins Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m.and ends Monday, Sept. 23.
