McHugh and Ravenelle Take Doubles Title at Wheaton Invitational

NORTON, MA - On Sunday, the Merrimack men's tennis Warriors (1-0) took part in the Wheaton College Invitational. Juniors Tim McHugh (Edgartown, MA) and Jon Ravenelle (North Andover, MA) paired up to win the No. 2 doubles tournament.
McHugh and Ravenelle won their matches 8-1 and 8-3 over Colby Sawyer and Wheaton, respectively.
Freshman Peter Golijanin advanced the furthest into the singles tournament, making the semi-finals and winning his matches 8-6 and 8-0.
The men's tennis team returns to action on Friday, September 18 at the ITA Regionals for an all-day tournament.
