Men's Tennis Captures Stonehill Invitational

EASTON, MA - The Merrimack men's tennis team captured the Stonehill Invitational over the weekend, concluding an excellent fall season.
The tournament victory concludes a fall season that saw Merrimack win two meets, win the Wheaton Invite, and have two semifinalist at the East Regionals.
In the Stonehill Invite, each main draw match was worth two points, while a consolation match was one point. In all, there were four singles' flights and a doubles flight.
Other teams that competed included, Roger Williams, Stonehill, Connecticut College, Holy Cross, Bridgewater State, Salve Regina, and Sulfolk.
Rishi Rajpol lost in the semis in the first
singles, earning two points. In the second singles, Adam
Wilding won the consolation final, good for two more
points. Max Eppley, John Seaward, and the doubles
team of Steve Viglione/Sean Pahler each won their
group, totaling 18 points, six each. The Warriors posted 22 points
total.
