Robbie Sabadoz Garners NSCAA All-East Region Accolades

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Senior Robbie Sabadoz (Ottawa, ON) of the Merrimack men's soccer team has been named to the NSCAA All-Region third team. Sabadoz was one of 18 players from the Northeast-10 Conference to receive NSCAA All-Region honors this season.

The senior co-captain was a Capital One Academic All-District and All-America honoree this fall. A business major, Sabadoz owns a 3.84 grade point average.

This season, he was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference first team for the third-consecutive year. Sabadoz paced the Warriors with 19 points on eight goals and three assists in his senior season. He tallied a pair of game-winning markers on the year, including the overtime score to lift Merrimack over Saint Anselm at home September 27.

Sabadoz became the third player in program history to amass 100 career points as he registered four points in the Warriors' 4-2 victory over Le Moyne October 19. He capped off his career with 104 total points and 45 career goals, tying him for second all-time in program history.

Sabadoz was selected to represent Merrimack in the NEISL Senior All-Star Game this season.

The Warriors posted a winning record for the eighth-straight year with a 9-7-3 overall mark. Merrimack concluded the regular season with a 7-6-1 record in league play to secure the No. 5 seed in the Northeast-10 Conference playoffs. The Warriors suffered a 3-2 loss to Le Moyne in the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament.
