Sabadoz Snags Daktronics All-East Region First Team Honors

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Following his Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year recognition, sophomore Robbie Sabadoz (Ottawa, ON) was named to the Daktronics, Inc. All-East Region First Team—one of only four at his position.

Sabadoz helped Merrimack to the program’s fifth straight postseason and 11 wins with a program record-tying 19 goals (Rich Fleming ’96) to lead the Conference. He also finished the season second among sophomores and sixth nationally in goals per game (1.12).

With 62 career points, Sabadoz ranks 13th all-time through two years with Merrimack, while he checks in at eighth all-time in terms of career goals (28), 30 goals shy of Fleming’s program mark.

Sabadoz is joined on the First Team by fellow Conference forwards Angelo Reina (Le Moyne) and Adrian Schippers (Southern NH) and Player of the Year Sargbah Tarpeh of Wilmington University.
