Men’s Soccer 2-0 after 3-2 Win over Molloy

COLCHESTER, VT. - The Merrimack men's soccer team rounded out its weekend at the Doubletree Classic with a 3-2 victory over Molloy College Saturday morning.

After scoring both goals Friday, freshman Robbie Sabadoz (Ottawa, ON) tallied his third goal of the weekend getting Merrimack on the board first in the 40th minute.

Sabadoz set up the Warriors' second goal as senior Tiago Dalboni (Medford, MA) fired one past Molloy netminder Ettore Morelli for the two-goal lead.

Molloy responded just three minutes later, but Wayne Sygrove (Yorkshire, UK) answered right back two minutes later as Dalboni notched the assist.

William Bell cut the lead to one scoring on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute, but Merrimack held on for the win, improving to 2-0 on the season. Rob Pedra (South Hamilton, MA) stopped seven shots for the victory.

Merrimack (2-0) will host Saint Anselm on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Warrior Field.
