Sabadoz’s Two Goals Gives Men’s Soccer 2-1 Win

COLCHESTER, VT - Freshman Robbie Sabadoz (Ottawa, ON) scored his first two collegiate goals giving the Merrimack men's soccer team the 2-1 victory over Felician College Friday afternoon at the Doubletree Classic.

Felician broke a scoreless tie 12 minutes into the game when Lukas Fraczek scored on a header, which came off the foot of Boris Shabovta.

Three minutes and 20 seconds later, the Warriors answered right back when Martin Gabadian (Montevideo, Uruguay) found Sabadoz to tie the score at one. The score remained tied at one until the 78-minute mark, when Sabadoz netted his second goal of the game, which was assisted by Maxime Obongono (Stoneham, MA). Rob Pedra (South Hamilton, MA) stopped five shots in net for Merrimack, to earn the victory.
