Rogowski Earns USLIA All American First-Team Honors
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Greg Rogowski (Cohoes,
NY) concluded his fabulous career Monday, earning
first-team All American honors from the United States
Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Rogowski becomes the first player in school history to be a
four-time All-American and a four-time All-Conference honoree.
The senior captain led Merrimack to a school-record 14 wins and its
first-ever NCAA Division II Final Four appearance while earning the
Northeast-10 Player of the Year selection for the second time.
Rogowski tallied 54 goals, fourth nationally and 84 points, tops in
the country, this season.
He finishes his career with 213 career goals, third in NCAA
Division II history, and 313 career points, fourth all-time. The
senior owns virtually every record in school history, career,
season, and game.
Finalists C.W. Post and Le Moyne combined to earn seven first-team
nods, with Post gathering four and the Dolphins taking three. The
USILA Awards will be announced all week on InsideLacrosse.com, with
the Division II Special Awards on Wednesday, preceding
Friday’s North-South game at Harvard University.
