The Merrimack College men's ice hockey team is seeking participants for the 2014 President's Cup Golf Tournament on Aug. 18 at Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover!

This year, the entire Merrimack College community will take to the links in a special all-day golf celebration that will help establish The Warrior Fund, a new resource that will directly support the College's student-athletes and growing athletic programs!

In recent years, the men's ice hockey team held its own unique tournament to raise funds to help the program. This year, all proceeds raised from sign-up registration and sponsorships for the President's Cup will directly benefit the men's ice hockey program, as well as the entire athletic department!

"The format, date, and venue may have changed, but all the hockey-related proceeds will, as always, directly benefit the men's ice hockey team," head coach Mark Dennehy noted.

To assure that your funds are directed toward the men's ice hockey program, please type "men's ice hockey" in the "I am a fan of:" question on the online registration form.

About The President's Cup
We invite you to join us for the President's Cup Golf Tournament on Aug. 18, 2014, at Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover! The proceeds from this year's tournament will establish The Warrior Fund, which will directly support Merrimack College's student-athletes and growing athletic programs.

The Warrior Fund will provide a new source of financial support that will enable our student-athletes to pursue excellence on the playing field, in the classroom, and in the community. The 2013-14 year saw a record number of young men and women enjoy an unprecedented level of success.

  • Over 600 men's and women's student-athletes competed in 23 sports
  • Merrimack's student-athletes boast, on average, a 3.0 GPA and take part in over 5,000 hours of community service annually
  • Merrimack finished fourth in the Northeast-10 Presidents' Cup Standings in 2013-14, its highest finish in 10 years

We need the strong support of our alumni and friends to continue our progress and take Merrimack to the next level. Show your Warrior Pride by participating in this year's tournament. We promise a wonderful day of camaraderie and competition.

On behalf of the Merrimack College community and the outstanding student-athletes who will benefit from your generosity, we encourage your support and look forward to seeing you on Aug. 18 as we tee off this very special event!
