Bates And Stewart To Be Live On ESPN Radio New Hampshire Thursday At 1:30 and 6 p.m.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Merrimack hockey junior Shawn Bates (Ft. Saskatchewan, AB) and Associate Head Coach Glenn Stewart will be guests Thursday afternoon on ESPN Radio New Hampshire leading up to Friday's road contest at #13 Boston University and Saturday's home contest against UMass on NESN. Bates will be on at 1:30 p.m. and Stewart will be on at 6:00 p.m.

#20 Merrimack (12-10-5, 10-6-2 HEA) moved back into the national rankings on Monday after defeating #13 UMass Lowell on Friday, 1-0, and #3 UNH on Saturday, 4-1. With the four points, Merrimack moved into sole possession of third place in Hockey East.

Bates enters this weekend's games tied for second on the team with five goals and 10 total points. Bates scored two goals in the Warriors 4-1 win over UNH on Saturday including the game-winner, his first game-winning goal of the season. He also has a rating of +3 and has fired 36 shots on goal through 21 games so far this season.
