NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Merrimack announced its 2012-13 hockey promotional schedule Wednesday, while mini-plans beginning at $60 also went on sale to the public.

Fans can purchase the blue mini plan, which features four games, for just $60. The gold bundle, which features five games, is available for five games. Mini plans, which are the only way to guarantee preferred seating to all home games including two each against BU and BC before individual tickets go on sale, are available until September 4 by calling the ticket office at 978-837-5324.

To celebrate the start of the 2012-13 campaign, the first 2,000 fans in attendance on opening night (October 26 vs. Vermont) will receive commemorative home schedule magnets. Boston Bruins legend Rene Rancourt will sing the National Anthem to open the new season.

The promotional schedule is highlighted by the Warrior Whiteout sponsored by Cedar's Foods against UNH on January 25 and Rally Flag Night sponsored by TSR on February 1 against UMass Lowell.

In addition, Merrimack has plenty of youth-friendly promotions, including Halloween Costume Contest night (October 27 – Vermont), Youth Hockey Night (November 10 – Connecticut), Scout Night (November 30 – Providence), Skate with Santa (December 8 – US Under-18), and Bring a Kid to the Game Night (February 9 – UMass).

Following the Colgate game on November 23 and the US Under-18 game on December 8, all kids who bring their own skates will have the opportunity to skate with members of the Merrimack hockey team.

The home schedule features 18 regular season games and one exhibition, highlighted by two games each against the defending National Champions Boston College, Boston University, and cross town rival UMass Lowell.

Merrimack also has launched the Ultimate Warrior Fan Club which will feature a rewards program for Merrimack students based on attendance at all Merrimack sporting events. More information will be released shortly.

Group rates, catered events and birthday parties for groups over 15 are also now available by calling the box office.

Fans can also join the Merrimack Junior Warrior Club for just $15 by clicking here. As part of being a Junior Warrior, fans receive a special edition Junior Warrior T-Shirt, free admission to all events when accompanied by a parent, a signed birthday card from the hockey team, and much more.

Individual tickets to all home games will go on sale on September 4 at 10 a.m. both online at and by calling the ticket office at 978-837-5324. As a reminder, all Friday night home games will start at 7:30 p.m.

Last season, Merrimack sold out 15 of 17 home games at Lawler Arena en route to a fifth-place finish in Hockey East with a 18-12-7 record, while being nationally ranked throughout the season for the first time ever.

Merrimack's television schedule is expected to be announced in late September.
