NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The Merrimack Sports Network will televise all three games of Merrimack's Hockey East Quarterfinal series with #10 Maine live on WBIN and games one and three live nationally on Fox College Sports Pacific.
All three games will start at 7 p.m. live from Alfond Arena in Orono, Maine. The Merrimack-Maine series will be the only Hockey East Quarterfinal series to have all three games televised and the only series to have two games nationally televised.
This will mark the first time Merrimack has produced and broadcast its own playoff games in school history. Once again, Pack Network will produce all games for Merrimack.
Merrimack will take on Maine for the second straight season in the HEA Quarterfinals. Last year at Lawler Arena, Merrimack defeated Maine 5-4 and 6-2 to advance to its second-ever HEA Semifinals, and eventually, its first-ever HEA Championship game and first NCAA Tournament since 1988.
Merrimack will kick-off its playoff coverage with the premiere of "Merrimack All-Access" before game one Friday on WBIN at 6:30 p.m. It will re air after game two on Saturday on WBIN. The inside look at Merrimack hockey will also be available on merrimackathletics.com following the quarterfinals. Click here for more details.
