Brandon Brodhag Named Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Brandon Brodhag (Brooklyn
Park, MN) earned his second Hockey East Pro Ambitions
Rookie of the Week honor on Monday.
Brodhag scored three goals over the weekend, including the
game-winner in overtime against Providence on Saturday. He scored
twice on Friday at Lowell and has eight goals this season, all in
Hockey East games, most among HEA rookies.
Playing in just 15 games, he is second among Hockey East newcomers
with .92 points per game, behind teammate Stephane Da Costa
(Paris, France).
Brodhag, who has four multi-point games this season, is a +3, tied
for second on the team.
Merrimack returns to the ice on Friday when it hosts #13
University of New Hampshire at 7 p.m. The Wildcats, first place in
HEA, are the only team to beat Merrimack, the best home team in
Hockey East, at Lawler Arena this season.
