Da Costa Repeats as Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – For the second straight month, Stephane Da Costa (Paris, France) was named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month.

Da Costa tallied at least a point in all five games in November, registering eight points (two goals, six assists). He posted two multiple-point games, including a three-point performance at Boston University on November 14.

The freshman continues to lead all rookies in the country in points per game and is tied for third in points with sixteen. He is fifth among Hockey East skaters in scoring. Da Costa has points in eight of 10 games this season.

Merrimack (6-6, 3-4 HEA) hosts Northeastern University in the first game of a home-and-home series on Friday at 7 p.m. at Lawler Arena. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to receive a free rally towel to cheer on the Warriors, courtesy of W.B. Mason and to bring a toy as part of Merrimack’s annual toy drive.
