Men’s Basketball Not Selected to NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Merrimack men's basketball team was not selected to the NCAA Tournament, announced Sunday evening by the NCAA. The Warriors posted a 15-12 overall record on the season and a 12-10 mark in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Merrimack reached as high as #7 in the regional rankings before finishing the year ranked #10 in the East Region.

The Warriors wrapped up the regular season tied for fifth in the Northeast-10 standings. After earning the No. 6 seed in the Northeast-10 Conference tournament, Merrimack fell to third-seeded Stonehill in the quarterfinals.

Senior captain Wayne Mack (Paterson, NJ) was tabbed to the Northeast-10 All-Conference first team.

For just the second time in program history, this year's senior class boasted three 1,000-point scorers. Roland Davis (Deer Park, NY), Aaron Strothers (Wareham, MA) and Mack all eclipsed the millennium mark this season.
