Darren Duncan Named Co-Player of the Week; Warriors Host Bentley Tuesday

EASTON, MA – Preseason All-American Darren Duncan (Briarwood, NY) was named the Co-Northeast-10 Player of the Week on Monday.

Since December 22, Duncan led the Warriors to wins in three straight games while averaging 24 points, nine assists and 5.7 rebounds per game. He currently leads the Northeast-10 in scoring, assists, steals, free throws made and attempted, and minutes played.

Le Moyne’s Laurence Ekperigin shared the honor with Duncan. Ekperigin, whose Le Moyne Dolphins visit Merrimack on Thursday, is second in the league with 18.6 points per game.

Merrimack, (9-1, 5-1 NE-10) off to its best start in school history, hosts rival Bentley University Tuesday night at the Volpe Gym at 7:30 p.m.
