Germano, Gisonno Chosen for NFHCA North/South Senior All-Star Game

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Seniors Jaclyn Germano (Westwood, MA) and Katelin Gisonno (Georgetown, MA) have been selected to play in the Division II North/South Senior All-Star game at Wake Forest University, it was announced on Wednesday.

The All-Star game—taking place in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on November 21, at 3:30pm—will pit the top seniors of the Northeast-10 Conference and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference versus one another.

Helping #8 Merrimack to the program’s top all-time ranking this past week, Germano and Gisonno have also lead the Warriors to a program mark for single-season wins (11) through Sunday.

With 13 goals on the year, Germano ranks tied for fifth in the Northeast-10 Conference and tops on her team along with freshman Jen Otis (Penacook, NH). Germano has also tallied a fifth-best game-winning goal tally of four.

Gisonno has tallied three goals and three assists while starting all 17 games this season for Merrimack.

The Warriors look to upset the #3 Skyhawks of Stonehill College on Wednesday in Easton, Massachusetts at 4:00pm. Merrimack will conclude the regular season in Manchester at Saint Anselm on October 24 at 12:00pm.

Merrimack will also host a Northeast-10 playoff contest on November 1 if they hold on to the fourth seed they currently possess.
