Football Hosts 2014 Pro Day Thursday; Spring Game Set for April 26 (1 p.m.)

SIX FORMER WARRIORS SET FOR ANNUAL FOOTBALL SKILLS SHOWCASE THURSDAY

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Six former members of the Merrimack College football team will partake in the program's annual Pro Day this Thursday on campus.

Graduating seniors Joe Clancy (Newburyport, Mass.), Shane Ferguson (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.), Quinn McDonough (Medford, Mass.) and Artis Holt (Baltimore, Md.), along with Class of 2013 graduates Isaiah Voegeli (Hyannis, Mass.) and Kevin Marks (McKinley, N.Y.) will all participate in Thursday's skills showcase hosted by Merrimack College.

The group of six will all be bidding to impress scouts from the National Football League (NFL) and other professional football ranks in attendance.

Activities will begin at 9:45 a.m. in the Strength and Conditioning Center and will continue outdoors at Martone-Mejail Field.

Also announced on Tuesday was the date for Merrimack's 2014 Spring Game, which will be held Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at Martone-Mejail Field. Second-year head coach Dan Curran and the rest of the coaching staff will pit the 2014 spring roster against each other as part of the program's annual Navy vs. Gold exhibition.
