Football Announces Second Wave of NLI Signees

WARRIORS ADD SEVEN MORE TO INCOMING RECRUITING CLASS OF 2014

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – After signing 11 future student-athletes to National Letters of Intent (NLI's) on National Signing Day earlier in February, the Merrimack College football team and head coach Dan Curran are pleased to announce the addition of seven more NLI signees as part of the 2014 Recruiting Class.

Kenny Clarke (WR | 6-1 | 185)
Two sport star for Ramapo High School in New Jersey excelling as a WR for the football team and a sprinter and jumper for the track team.

Cody Demers (WR | 5-10 | 170)

Boston Globe (Division 1) Player of the Year. Captain of the Division 1 State Champions Central Catholic Raiders.

Gage Howard (LB | 6-0 | 200)
Four-Year Starter, Captain and All-Conference performer at Maclay High School in Tallahassee, Fla. Prepped at Cushing Academy and is the younger brother of current Merrimack wide receiver Gray Howard.

Dan Cardillo (DB | 5-10| 180)
Two- Time All-Conference performer at Wakefield High School before prepping a year at  Bridgton Academy where he started at safety and led the team in interceptions.

Dan Orlando (DB | 6-0 | 185)
All-Conference performer who excelled as an all-purpose threat for Westborough High School lining up at QB, WR and DB.

All-Conference performer for Chelmsford High School playing on both sides of the ball for the Lions as a TE and DL.

All-Conference performer at Hingham High School who was a stalwart for the Offensive Line this past season for Bridgton Academy.
