NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Two more Merrimack seniors will be heading off to the professional ranks once NFL mini camps begin next week. Quarterback James Suozzo (Everett, Mass.) and defensive end Tony Johnson (Lynn, Mass.) have both received mini camp invitations from NFL teams, Suozzo from the New York Giants and Johnson from the Baltimore Ravens.

New Haven, CT – After back-to-back weeks of losing second half leads, the Merrimack football team put together a great second half, coming back from 13 down to win 28-27 at Southern Connecticut State on Saturday. Merrimack scored a touchdown in the third and fourth quarters to finish off the comeback.

Second Half Dooms Football, Falling 38-34 to AIC
Springfield, Mass – The Merrimack football team led at half 28-22 but were unable to hold on to the lead in the second half. American International scored with 2:46 remaining in the game to win by the score of 38-34 on Saturday afternoon at Ronald J. Abdow Field. Merrimack gained 446 yards of total offense in the losing effort.
