NORTH ANDOVER, MA - From June 20-23, over 600 Merrimack College first-year students and their parents were welcomed to Merrimack's campus to get a taste of what it means to be a Warrior.

With various pit stops throughout the day, new students experienced a day in the life of a Merrimack student from beginning to end.  A full schedule can be found at the school's Home Team 2015 Orientation Website

ALSO: A special presentation by the Athletics Department highlighted the first-year student's day at the Volpe Athletic Center.  Students made some noise and learned what it takes to be a Warrior! On average, 600 students attended home Merrimack hockey games last year, creating the best home ice advantage in Hockey East.

In addition to joining Merrimack Athletics as of Summer 2011, Club Sports has also developed a 'Spirit Squad' that incorporates Dance, Cheer, Pep Band, the mascot and other spirit groups.  For more information on each group, visit their individual pages by clicking the link for the respective sport above.
