NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Third-year head coach Jim Martin has unveiled the date for the 2013 Merrimack College Baseball Winter Clinic.

The camp will be held Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. at the Volpe Athletic Complex. Registration will be held approximately a half hour (9:30 a.m.) before the clinic begins.

Interested attendees should download the official winter clinic brochure at the link above and return with the registration fee of $150 to the address provided.

This camp is designed for high school baseball players who are looking to play at the collegiate level.

Players will learn about all aspects of the game, both offensively and defensively. The goal is to improve their skills in areas ranging from pitching, throwing, hitting and fielding. Players will also learn about Merrimack College, what it means to be a college student-athlete and some general NCAA recruiting information.

All high school players are eligible to take part in the clinic. Players are required to bring their own personal equipment for use including: fielding glove, bat (preferably wood), batting gloves, and catcher's gear. Attendees should wear clothes that allow for full range of baseball motions and are suitable to work out in.
