Bercume Named First-Team All-Region

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Jeff Bercume (Leicester, MA) continues to reap the postseason awards, as the senior centerfielder was named a first-team all-east region selection by the Division II baseball coaches.

By virtue of being a first-team honoree, Bercume’s name will appear on the All-American ballot.

Also a Northeast-10 first-team selection, Bercume was fourth in the conference with a .385 batting average, while finishing second with 23 steals. He added five homers, 46 RBIs, and a .447 on-base percentage, all tops on the Warriors. The centerfielder departs the program with 230 hits, most in school history, while earning three first-team all-conference selections.

Assumption’s Mike Baillargeon and Dowling’s Gabriel Duran were named the East Region Player of the Year and East Region Pitcher of Year respectively.
