Merrimack Athletics to Host Toys for Tots Drive Starting Next Week

FANS RECEIVE FREE ADMISSION TO MERRIMACK BASKETBALL, DISCOUNTED ADMISSION TO MEN'S HOCKEY WITH TOY DONATIONS

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College Athletics Department will host a special Toys for Tots Drive beginning next week, the Athletic Department announced Wednesday.

Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 4, before the men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader against Bentley (women 5:30 p.m. | men 7:30 p.m.), the Athletic Department will begin its Toys For Tots Drive, exchanging a charitable toy donation for free or reduced admission for various Merrimack winter athletics events.

Those who donate new, unwrapped toys prior to men’s and women’s basketball games will receive free admission to both contests of a men’s and women’s doubleheader, or free admission to single-session games.

Fans who donate new, unwrapped toys prior to basketball games may also elect to receive $5 off future men’s ice hockey game tickets. The Warriors’ last men’s ice hockey home game of the semester – and before Christmas – is Friday, Dec. 6, against Boston University.

About Toys For Tots
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
