Student-Athletes Help Class of 2015 Move in Thursday

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – As the largest freshmen class in recent history moves into Merrimack College representing the Class of 2015, Merrimack’s student-athletes were out in full force helping the newcomers move in to their dorm rooms.
Student-athletes from the football, field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, and field hockey teams assisted the 620-member Class of 2015 on Thursday, taking time away from their practices, training and preparation for the upcoming season.
After winning over 65% of home games in 2010-11, Merrimack’s 2011-12 season kicks off Thursday night when the men’s soccer team hosts Post at 7 p.m. at Warrior Field.
Merrimack also added two sports for this year, women’s golf which begins on September 10, and women’s crew, which opens play on October 2.

Field Hockey: September 8, 7 p.m. vs. Bentley
Women’s Soccer: September 11, 1 p.m. vs. New Haven
